Transcriptome dataset of two different adipose tissues in gestational diabetes patients.

Using next generation RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), this study evaluated the whole transcriptome of subcutaneous (SC) and omental (OM) adipose tissues from patients with gestational diabetes (GD) and healthy matching controls that were collected during cesarean delivery (C-section). Results show a strong separation of the transcriptomic profiles based on anatomical location and reveal specific RNA expression patterns unique to GD patients mRNA profile of 20 tissue patient samples from 2 different anatomical positions. 10 Patients with Diabetes Gestational and 10 controls. SUbcutaneous adipose biopsies and omental tissie biopsies were collected.
