DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL ADAPTATION IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

This article highlights the psychological and pedagogical essence of the process of social adaptation in preschool children. It is argued that social adaptation is manifested through the child's place in the team, relationships with peers, culture of communication with adults, and emotional stability. The study considers game activities, role-playing exercises, team tasks, and communicative situations led by an educator as effective means of forming social skills in children. It is also emphasized that the cooperation of educators and parents is an important factor in developing children's empathy, cooperation, peaceful conflict resolution, and compliance with social rules. The article is aimed at providing practical recommendations for educators of preschool educational institutions.
