This dataset is based on field measurements in surface outcrop sections of the Tambach Formation (Rotliegend Group; early Permian) in the Tambach-Dietharz sedimentary basin (Free State of Thuringia, central Germany), including: ID-number of the respective section; combined notation of stratigraphic dip azimuth/dip angle; abbreviation of the assigned lithostratigraphic member (roTc1=Bielstein Conglomerate Member; roTs=Tambach Sandstone Member; roTc2=Finsterbergen Conglomerate Member); date of the measurement (notation: dd.mm.yyyy); latitude coordinate; longitude coordinate; stratigraphic dip azimuth value (ranging from 0° to 360°); stratigraphic dip angle value (ranging from 0° to 90°).
