Metatranscriptomic sequencing of marine protist communities from surface (0 m) and deep chlorophyll maximum (45 m) layers in the northeastern East China Sea

This project contains metatranscriptomic RNA-seq data from protist communities sampled at the surface (0 m) and deep chlorophyll maximum (45 m) layers in the northeastern East China Sea. The dataset was generated to investigate community composition and functional gene expression patterns across depth layers.
