Biopsy specimens and gastric aspirates of the stomach of a patient from Japan

A novel Gram-positive bacterium isolated from a patient with H. pylori-positive Japanese female with gastric erosion, active chronic gastritis, atrophy, intestinal metaplasia and atypia. This bacterium was often isolated from H. pylori-negative dyspeptic patients with various gastrointestinal pathologies.
