National Buoy Data Center Environmental Buoy Locations in the Gulf of Maine and Southern New England Waters, 2006

These data give the location of all environmental monitoring buoys stations in Gulf of Maine and southern New England waters present in the National Data Buoy Center (http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/) as of June 21, 2006. These buoys and stations are operated variously by the Gulf of Maine Ocean Observing System, National Buoy Data Center, National Ocean Service, and the University of Connecticut Dept. of Marine Science. All points are hot linked to the National Buoy Center where real-time and recorded environmental data may be downloaded.
