Viability assays for eight human cancer cell lines, and two non-carcinogenic cell lines.

Viability assays were performed for eight human cancer cell lines, and two non-carcinogenic cell lines treated for 48 h with portoamides. IC50 values are derived from triplicates per plate, and from at least two independent assays. Portoamides did not affect the viability of lung carcinoma (A549), hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG2), breast ductal carcinoma (T-47D) and neuroblastoma (SHSY-5Y) cells at the concentrations tested.
