资源简介:
The Technical University of Munich Standard Module SN003 was deployed on 2020-09-28 at ODP 1027C. ODP 1027C is a borehole site used to pinpoint an area within Cascadia Basin. This device is a Standard Module. The Standard Module is a common platform shared by all the STRAW-b project (STRings for Absorption Length in Water B) specialized modules. The components of the standard module provide power supply, data logging, and communication within specialized modules (eg. spectrometer, muon chamber, LiDAR). The independent standard modules in their own glass spheres that are not hosting specialized modules are used for testing the reliability of common components and recording environmental data and system health information. The standard module will continuously record information like power consumption, temperature, pressure, humidity, and directional information by the aid of acceleration and magnetic field sensors. By this, it delivers a valuable ping signal from the module positions, which can be used to check a successful deployment and the overall status of the modules. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
