资源简介:
This dataset contains HYSPLIT (Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory) backward and forward trajectories used to analyze the transport of wildfire smoke and its contribution to aerosol optical depth (AOD) over Warsaw, Poland. The simulations support the findings presented in the study: Broda et al. (2025), "Contribution from wildfire regions to smoke optical depth over Warsaw", published in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics.Dataset ContentBackward Trajectories: Calculated for the starting point in Warsaw (52.21°N, 20.98°E). These were used to implement the methodology described in the related article to assess the contribution of identified wildfires regions to smoke aerosol optical depth (BB AOD) in Warsaw.Forward Trajectories: Initialized at identified wildfire hotspots to determine whether these regions could serve as a source of biomass burning aerosols reaching the selected region (i.e. Poland)
