Fecal microbiome and urine metabolome profiling of type 2 diabetes

In this study, we conducted a comparative analysis of fecal microbiome and urine metabolome profiles in type 2 diabetes patients (T2D group) and healthy controls (control group) to evaluate their respective discriminatory powers. This study focused specifically on fecal microbiome and urinary metabolome analyses, as these approaches offer complementary insights into host-microbe interactions and systemic metabolic alterations.
