Photograph of Charlie Foster of the 4th East Yorks, sent from France to his friend Ralph William Readhead during World War I. Foster is sitting on a horse. A post-it note attached to the photograph gives a transcription of what was presumably the accompanying message: "Dear Ralph, The horse is known as Sacco but she belies the name.
