Bacterial community associated with Trametes versicolor

The aim of this study was to investigate the roles of bacteria associated with the white-rot fungus Trametes versicolor. To clarify the bacterial community structure within decayed wood colonized by T. versicolor, 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing was performed using the Illumina MiSeq platform. These data provide the basis for isolating representative bacterial strains and evaluating their potential effects on fungal wood degradation and metabolism.
