As part of our Trypanosoma cruzi cell atlas project, we annotated untranslated regions (UTRs) of the genome, refining and extending existing annotation approaches. The GFF file contains the complete genome annotation, including the newly generated UTR annotations, produced following the approach described in 10.1099/mgen.0.000177. The accompanying GTF file provides a filtered version of the annotation with pseudogenes removed.
