Investigate the prevalence of SARS-Cov-2 mutant strains in Osaka. In particular, genomic analysis by sequencing is important for omicron strains, as it is no longer possible to discriminate mutant strains by screening with PCR tests. In addition, SARS-Cov-2 genome analysis is being carried out for the selection of treatment policies and drugs for SARS-Cov-2-infected patients admitted to hospitals.
