Memorial Roadway Designations

The Florida Legislature designates the roadways based on nominations from city or county commissions, individual state agencies, or civic groups. Upon official designation by the Florida Legislature, it is the responsibility of the legislative sponsors of the designation to obtain local resolutions in accordance with <a href='https://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&amp;Search_String=&amp;URL=0300-0399/0334/Sections/0334.071.html' rel='nofollow ugc' target='_blank'>Section 334.071(3), F.S.</a> This data is updated yearly and this dataset contains data since 2014-present.
