资源简介:

This Supplementary Dataset accompanies the manuscript “Virtual City Simulator: A Scenario-Based Tool for Multidimensional Urban Flood Long-Term Vulnerability Assessment and Planning in Mediterranean Cities.” It provides the complete data structure used to build, parameterize, and apply the Virtual City Simulator, including indicators, ranges, data sources, weights, and a real-case application. The Excel file is organized into four sections, each documenting a key component of the methodology: Section 1. Data_Virtual City: Contains the full database of 36 indicators used to assess long-term multidimensional flood vulnerability across eight synthetic Mediterranean neighborhood typologies. Indicators are organized into four dimensions (social, economic, environmental, physical) and three components (exposure, susceptibility, resilience). This sheet includes default values, ranges, and units. Section 2. Source_Data_Virtual City: Provides detailed documentation of the data sources, assumptions, and estimation criteria used to define indicator values and typology-specific ranges. It ensures transparency and reproducibility, enabling users to trace every parameter to its empirical basis or methodological rule. Section 3. Default weights_Virtual City: Includes the baseline weighting structure applied in the Virtual City Simulator. It contains: weights for the four vulnerability dimensions, and weights for the indicators within each dimension. These weights correspond to the Business-as-Usual (BAU) configuration used in the manuscript. Section 4. Ruzafa_Virtual City: Presents a real-case application using partial data from the Ruzafa neighborhood (Valencia). This sheet illustrates how the synthetic Virtual City database can be hybridized with observed values in data-scarce settings to generate a multidimensional vulnerability profile. It supports the transferability analysis discussed in the article. Overall, this dataset provides all the necessary inputs to replicate, validate, or extend the analyses presented in the manuscript, supporting scenario exploration, urban planning, and multidimensional vulnerability assessment through the Virtual City Simulator.
