Research data for Mitigating Safety Risks in Information Systems: A Self-Adaptive Approach Research Data. A controlled experiment was conducted to determine whether SAS, aware of interruptions, improves effectiveness, efficiency, situational awareness, and usability compared to non-adaptive systems in information systems. A total of 30 participants contributed to the controlled experiment. The subjects were people with experience using IS and knowledge of decision-making. This is the empirical data of that research where we found out that an adaptive system that is *aware* of interruptions performs better (safer, more efficient, more effective, better SA, and more usable) than non-adaptive systems in information systems.
