Raw environmental data from the Monterey Peninsula, California, USA

This is a repository for the raw data from environmental sensors deployed from Hopkins Marine Station. Envloggers (https://electricblue.eu/envloggers) measured temperature in the intertidal and subtidal. Minidots (https://www.pme.com/products/minidot) measured temperature and oxygen in the subtidal. Files are organized by collection. Sensor metadata are provided in hms_sensor_deployments_yymmdd and hms_sensor_names_yymmdd excel files.

Folder names represent a single deployment for one type of logger. Folder (and file) names are tagged with the date of collection.

For envloggers, the naming convention for folders is:
- intertidal_yymmdd
- subtidal_yymmdd

For minidots, the naming convention for folders is:
- yymmdd-serial (e.g., 221215-176547)

In addition, sensor checks are included. These checks were intended to determine whether envloggers and minidots were comparable to each other. These are also organized by the date of collection, with the naming convention for folders:
- sensor_check_yymmdd
