VPRS 14518 Photographs and Negatives [Education History Unit]

The photographs in this series were accumulated by the Education History Unit (EHU) of the Department of Education and Training. They depict schools, school students, teachers, politicians, educational activities and other education-related subject-matter. The images were used for various Department publications.In some cases, descriptions have been written onto the photographs or their housing, however in many cases this is only a date or there is no information at all. The photographs are generally printed onto proof sheets and some images on the proofs have been marked, presumably selected for publishing.Negatives are housed with the photographs.Other miscellaneous items (for example, letters written by students to the Department) have occasionally been housed with the photographs in this series.
