Norwegian Election Survey 2021

The Norwegian Election Survey was conducted in the fall of 2021. The purpose of the survey was to describe voter turnout, political orientation, and attitudes towards political issues among the population. The 2021 parliamentary election survey was funded by the Institute for Social Research (ISF).For the survey, 3,200 individuals between the ages of 18 and 79 were randomly selected from the Population Register. Half of these individuals were also part of the sample for the 2017 parliamentary election survey, while the rest were newly selected this year.The survey was conducted as a combined telephone and web survey, and 50 percent of the sample was interviewed. The main reasons for not receiving responses from everyone were that some individuals did not want to participate and that contact could not be established with all individuals in the sample during the data collection period.
