资源简介:
The dataset is part of the research supported by the Polish National Science Centre (Narodowe Centrum Nauki) grant 2021/43/B/HS6/00710. Project title: “Rhizomatic networks, circulation of meanings and contents, and offline contexts of online drug trade” (2022-2025; PLN 956 620; funding institution: Polish National Science Centre [NCN], call: OPUS 22; Principal Investigator: Piotr Siuda [Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, Poland]).This dataset was created in the context of the study above, which delves into the dynamics of the internet concerning disruptive behaviors, explicitly focusing on the online drug market in Poland. The study seeks to (1) analyze how the open internet, including social media, is utilized in the drug trade; (2) describe how darknet platforms contribute to the drug trade; and (3) explore the distribution of drug-related content across both the open web and darknet, aiming to uncover the discourses and meanings within the drug subculture. The dataset originates from a digital ethnography study focusing on Cebulka, a Polish dark web cryptomarket and image board (http://cebulka7uxchnbpvmqapg5pfos4ngaxglsktzvha7a5rigndghvadeyd.onion/index.php). This study encompasses in-depth interviews with users, and the dataset shared pertains to these interviews.Cebulka is recognized as a key online platform within Poland’s dark web scene for illegal substances. Beyond acting as a trading post, it significantly influences the discourses and prevalent viewpoints within the drug subculture. The collected data has been instrumental in conducting the necessary analysis to meet the project’s goals. The dataset includes:An interview questionnaire. Two announcement letters intended for potential respondents. The interviews were conducted using in-person encounters and digital platforms, adhering to ethical privacy and informed consent guidelines. Owing to ethical constraints, the data shared is restricted, as it is impossible to provide full interview transcripts.
