IMP- and VIM-producing Enterobacteriaceae. Enterobacteriaceae

Carbapenemase producing Enterobacteriaceae has been recognized as the global public health threat. The five major carbapenemases that have global distribution are NDM, KPC, OXA-48-like, IMP, and VIM. However, data are lacking for IMPs and VIMs. This study investigates global molecular epidemiology of clinical IMP and VIM-producing Enterobacteriaceae.
