For EMT modeling, ARPE19 cells starved for 12 hours, after which they were processed using 10 ng/mL TGF beta1 for 72h or 0h. Total RNA was isolated from the TGF beta1 treated ARPE19 cells for 0 h and 72 h using TRIzol and used to perform RNA-sequencing on a HiSeq 2500 system using nextgeneration sequencing techniques.
