Morphology, viability, swelling, and hydrodynamic behavior of seeds of an invasive climbing plant – wild cucumber (Echinocystis lobata)

This repository contains raw data documenting the morphology, viability, swelling, and hydrodynamic behavior of seeds of an invasive climbing plant – wild cucumber (Echinocystis lobata). It includes: high-resolution scans of seeds with associated biometric measurements (length, width, area, perimeter, circularity), photographs from TTC viability tests, time-lapse DIC videos showing seed coat deformation during swelling, videos of seed motion in oscillatory water flow at frequencies from 0.5 to 3 Hz. A separate document in the repository provides a detailed description of all methods used to collect and process these materials.
