Transcriptomic profiles of the small intestine in mice fed with high fat diet (HFD) or HFD supplemented with Vitamin A at both fasted and refed states.

We fed the mice with high fat diet (HFD group) or high fat diet containing 2.5 times the normal dosage of Vitamin A (3.875 mg/kg, HFD-VA group) for 12 weeks. Mice were then sacrificed in a fasted state or in a refed state. The transcriptomic profiling of the small intestine tissue from mice in HFD and HFD-VA groups was performed by RNA sequencing.
