资源简介:
The pre-salt layer, found off the coast of Brazil, is rich in oil reserves and home to unique paleoenvironments, including various lakes formed by geological processes during the Lower Cretaceous Period, specially the Aptian. These lakes, often characterized by their distinct chemical compositions, support diverse life biota. The interplay between the geothermal heat from the earth’s core and the surrounding ocean water during the rifting process creates a dynamic environment, fostering unique biological communities that have adapted to these extreme conditions. As researchers continue to explore these fossil lakes, they uncover valuable insights into the ecological significance of the southeast region of Brazil and its potential impacts on global biodiversity in the south Gondwana rift process.
This database aims to give the scientific community valuable insights concerning lithostratigraphy, microfossils, chronostratigraphy, geochemistry, and well-log information indexed by depth for the primary two sedimentary basins that compose pre-salt area (Santos and Campos). The user will find 25 columns here. Well name, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, BACIA, TDEP, COD, ROCK, FORMATION, MEMBER, CRONOEST, NANOFOSSIL, PALINO, FORAMIN, COT, RI, S1, S2, S3, TMAX, IH, IO, CALIPER, GR, RHOB, DT, NPHI, DBSCAN, FLAG. The last two columns provide an outlier analysis using the DBSCAN method and a quality flag that converts the outlier analysis with CALIPER data.
The units for the geophysical data are inch for the observed CALIPER, GAPI for the observed Gamma Ray (GR), g/cm³ for the observed density (RHOB), us/ft for observed sonic time transit (DT), m³/m³ for the observed neutronic porosity (NPHI).
