Preliminary estimates suggested that the working age population in the Philippines, or those 15 years old and above, were estimated at 77.61 million in 2023, reflecting an increase from the previous year. In that year, the employment rate in the Philippines was estimated at 95.7 percent, or equivalent to about 48.18 million people.
