In situ ADCP averaged current measurements at Paimpol-Bréhat tidal test site (TIGER project) - Raw dataset

This datasat contains raw data of the averaged current measurement campaign performed by Energie de la Lune, for a duration of 6 months from 19th of september 2022 to 27th of march 2023.It was performed in the framework of Interreg NWE project TIGER. Three reports, available in this deposit, refers to ADCP deployment, recovery, and data analysis. The base of the measurement station was composed of a stainless steel quadripod structure. It assembles: - 1 Nortek Signature 500 kHz ADCP - 1 Nortek external battery box - 1 Sonardyne LRT acoustic transponder for positioning The ADCP was configured to operate in two different measurement modes: An averaged mode, which computed the mean current over 10-minute intervals every 10 minutes.This mode provided a general characterization of the hydrodynamic conditions at the deployment site.The file PB_avgd.ad2cp contains 10-min averaged data over the full measurement period A “burst” mode, which performed 30-minute measurements every hour at an acquisition frequency of 2 Hz.This mode was used to enable turbulence measurements: these data are provided in a related dataset
