Targets for railway transport sector in Turkey by 2028, in kilometers of track

In 2023, the lengths of operating conventional and high-speed railways were 11,668 and 2,251 kilometers, respectively. The target envisages the construction of an additional 3,092 kilometers of high-speed rail by 2028, as well as the construction of 224 kilometers of the conventional railway.
