Dîwân-i-Sanjar (ديوان سنجر).

Complete poetical works of Mîr Muḥammad Hâshim, with the takhalluṣ Sanjar, the son of Mîr Rafî’-aldin Ḥaidar Mu’ammâ’î of Kâshân, with the takhalluṣ Rafî’î (the great riddle-writer, who died A.H. 1032=A.D. 1622, 1623, see Safînah, No. 394 in Bodleian Cat., col. 224). Sanjar came to India A.H. 1000 (A.D. 1591, 1592), where the emperor Akbar bestowed upon him the takhalluṣ Farâghî (used by him in some ghazals); after being imprisoned by Akbar and finally released, he went to Ibrâhîm ‘Âdilshâh’s court in Bijâpûr and died there, A.H. 1021 (A.D. 1612, 1613); comp. Sanjar’s brother, Mir Ma’ṣûm (who died A.H. 1052=A.D. 1642, 1643), was likewise a good poet, see Safînah, loc.cit., No. 395.

Ḳaṣîdas (in honour of Akbar, Sulṭân Khusrau bin Jahângîrshâh etc.) and ḳiṭ’as, on fol. 1b, beginning:

اى جوهر ذات تو زاشباه مبرّا

نازان بوجود تو تبارك و تعالى

Ghazals, in alphabetical order, on fol. 44b, beginning:

.اختيارى (اختيار) خود دارى هر چه میکنی یارا الخ

At the end of this part some rubâ’îs.

A mathnawî, without any title (probably a ساقينامه), on fol. 125b, beginning:

الهى سينۀ درد آشنا ده

غم از هر دل بستانى بما ده

This last part is much injured.
