The World Health Survey is a multi-country survey. The aim of the survey program is to gather data on health states, disability, responsiveness and provision of health services in a wide range of health systems. Statistics Norway (SSB) has been responsible for the data collection in Norway. The survey is concerned with the relation between needs for health services in the population (respondents health condition) and available health services, and it includes questions about the quality of available services. It is particularly focused on how patients are greeted and treated in the health services, which is evaluated from subjective expectations. The health services in this survey includes srevices that are offered by general practitioner, specialist, psychologist, midwife, dentist, physiotherapist, chiropractor and alternative therapist.
