Columbus Communities

Columbus Communities is a boundary layer that is be used by city departments for planning and reporting purposes. The boundaries represent areas generally recognized as a "community", which often comprise a number of neighborhoods. The layer is an update to and replaces the Community Planning Areas layer. It utilizes area commission boundaries when an area commission exists, but is not intended to replace or be used in the place of them.哥伦布社区（Columbus Communities）是一类边界图层（boundary layer），可供市政部门开展规划编制与报告撰写工作使用。该图层划定的边界对应普遍获得认可的“社区”范畴，此类社区通常由多个邻里街区组成。本图层为《社区规划区域图层》（Community Planning Areas layer）的更新版本，将替代原图层。当存在区域委员会（area commission）时，本图层将沿用区域委员会的边界设定，但本图层并非旨在取代区域委员会，亦不可替代其相关边界的使用地位。
