Mitochondrial genome of Acheilognathus macromandibularis (Cypriniformes: Acheilognathidae)

This study presents the first complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Acheilognathus macromandibularis, a Chinese endemic bitterling of the family Acheilognathidae. The mitogenome is a closed circular molecule of 16,786 bp, encoding a typical set of 37 genes including 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), two ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes, and a single D-loop control region.
