Dam Removal Properties

This dataset contains a set of properties assembled for dam removals. It is part of the distributed data architecture for the National Dam Removal Science Database. The properties provide specifications for the removed dam, details about the removal process, and associated information about the river and reservoir. The terms (properties) in the dataset come from the Dam Removal vocabulary, with field names in the first line of the CSV providing direct URI/URL references to the appropriate term. The dataset is provided in CSV format as a snapshot of what is ultimately a dynamic data stream coming from text mining and other synthesis operations. The dataset was originally derived from the "dams" table in the USGS Dam Removal Science Database, and went through a number of processing steps described in provenance. The CSV form of the database is transitory and will be converted to a RDF form with an associated API in a future iteration.
