Codification of armed conflicts and international responsibility. A work of the International Law Commission completed or under review?

This work aims to investigate a particular and obscure topic of the codification of the International Law Commission (ILC) in the matter of armed conflicts. In the next paragraphs, the relevant articles of the project of 2011 and of 2022 will be analyzed only in the sector of armed conflicts and environmental protection in a comparative way and through the relevant jurisprudence and doctrine on the subject. The constant work that is done by the ILC based on the norms of the Vienna Convention in the Law of Treaties is topic of discussion and criticism as we also see in the last paragraphs of this paper. What are the problems regarding armed conflicts, the unresolved problems, the contrary opinions of various states on the subject, the political character, the new crises faced are some of the additional topics that are taken into consideration for the development of this work.
