Dataset of hourly environmental conditions during pig cadaver decomposition in a UK humid temperate climate (May–August 2021)

This dataset contains hourly environmental measurements recorded during the decomposition of Sus scrofa domesticus in a UK humid temperate climate between May and August 2021. The dataset includes air temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall measurements recorded using a Steinberg Systems weather station. The data were collected to support research in forensic taphonomy, particularly in the estimation of the post mortem interval (PMI) and the analysis of environmental influences on decomposition. The dataset is provided in CSV format with clearly defined variables and units to facilitate reuse in comparative studies and modelling applications.
