In this study, we evaluated the effects of future climate change on the suitable habitats and genetic structure of Asian warty newts in northern Vietnam. To investigate genetic structure and gene flow in these populations, we used genome-wide nuclear (nu)DNA single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) data. We integrated data on intraspecific genetic variation from different groups into ENM to predict changes in the suitable habitats for each group under future climate change scenarios.
