Mearim 2017 Household Survey

Socioeconomic assessment of smallholders' livelihood activity in the Mearim Valley, Maranhão state, Brazil. It comprises sessions on household demographics, income and assets, land use and land ownership categories, forms of access to natural resources, social organization, and agricultural and extractive practices. 1025 interviews were conducted at the household level, with a representative sample of smallholder farmers, equivalent to 5% of family farms in the Territory. Results are presented through separate files according to survey sessions.
