SWOT-Derived Canal Observability Confidence Levels for Asian Green Revolution Irrigation Networks

This dataset provides per-canal-segment observability confidence levels derived from SWOT Level-2 pixel cloud (PIXC) observations matched to the Global River and Irrigation Network (GRAIN) dataset. The confidence level (CL) quantifies how reliably the SWOT satellite can observe water surface elevation (WSE) over individual irrigation canal segments across 22 Asian Green Revolution and adjacent countries. SWOT PIXC data spanning 2024-01-01 to 2024-12-31 were processed. Only PIXC pixels classified as open water (classification = 4) were used.
