Transcriptome analysis of Enterococcus mundtii QU 25

Enterococcus mundtii QU 25 is an efficient L-lactate producing bacteria and can utilize cellobiose and xylose in addition to glucose. In order to elucidate the mechanizm of carbon catabolite repression, we performed RNA-seq analysis at the exponential growth phase in cells that were grown on glucose, cellobiose, and/or xylose as either sole or co-carbon sources.
