US Patient Adherence & Therapeutic Class Insights

This IoMT time-series dataset delivers a comprehensive, real-world view of patient medication adherence across a broad range of generic and standard therapeutic classes using smart pill dispensing technology and persistent remote therapeutic monitoring at the site of care.  A dose is recorded as “Taken” when the patient physically retrieves the medication cup from the device at the scheduled administration time.

**Taken*** - A dosage the MedMinder system has determined was taken.

**Not Taken*** - A dosage the MedMinder system has deemed missed.

**Ignored*** - A scheduled dosage registered in the MedMinder system where the outcome is not determined. This can happen if the device was turned off.

By capturing the relationship between prescribed dosing schedules and actual patient intake behavior, the dataset generates a standardized **Adherence Score** that serves as a reliable, objective indicator of treatment consistency and patient engagement.

This product consists of **first-party, platform-generated US medication adherence** **data** produced directly through MedMinder Systems Inc systems and services.  It enables healthcare organizations, life sciences companies, and payers to measure adherence trends, identify intervention opportunities, and evaluate real-world treatment performance with device-verified accuracy.  The data is starting from 1/1/2022 and includes the following fields:

- Generic medication name
- Therapeutic classes
- Patient UID
- Reporting date
- Taken dosages
- Not taken dosages
- Ignored dosages
