Para Woodlands Restoration

This project site occurs across 500 hectares of former farming land that has been bequested back to the public for environmental and social connectivity. The Para Woodlands Restoration Project has a core focus of restoring a functioning grassy woodland ecosystem to the site, to provide habitat for wildlife, and especially for declining woodland birds of the area. Activities will focus on revegetation, protection and maintenance of revegetation areas, local provenance seed collection, managing priority weeds across the property, bushcare weed control to improve the quality of habitat of the threatened woodland birds that already use the site.
