Mus musculus TBEV-infected Langerhans cells and M2 macrophages Transcriptome. Mus musculus

The study aimed to describe the early response of mouse immune cells to TBEV infection. The Langerhans cells and M2 macrophages were derived from the bone marrow of mouse strain C57Bl/6N. Upon extraction, the bone marrow was differentiated using specific growth factors and differentiated cells were further infected with TBEV Hypr and Sofjin strains. Langerhans cells population was sorted from differentiated cell population using a specific cell surface marker prior to infection. All cells were collected at 24 and 48 HPI.
