The Georgetown AEM survey was flown between August and November 2024 and was a collaboration between the Geological Survey of Queensland and Geoscience Australia. NRG was commissioned to acquire the survey using their XCite airborne electromagnetic system. The survey was flown at a line spacing of 2 kilometres, covering a total of 10,600 flight-line kilometres. Data has also been released by Geoscience Australia: http://pid.geoscience.gov.au/dataset/ga/150184

The survey release package contains final products in various formats released by the contractor, NRG:
- Survey logistics and processing report.
- Final processed electromagnetic, magnetic and elevation point located data in Geosoft GDB and ASEG-GDF formats
- Processed electromagnetic, magnetic and elevation grids
- Contractor-supplied point located conductivity estimates from GA Layer earth Inversion (LEI) in Geosoft GDB and ASEG-GDF formats
- Contractor-supplied multi-plots of line data and conductivity sections.
- Geosoft 3d Voxel of LEI results.

The data release package also contains a suite of Geoscience Australia products derived from GA’s layered earth inversion algorithm:
- Point located file containing conductivity data, and modelled EM response for each sounding.
- Gocad sgrids 3D objects (suitable for various 3D packages).
- Multi-plot inverted electrical conductivity sections, monitored geometry parameters and noise levels as profiles in (PDF format) for all lines.
- Geo-referenced conductivity sections (PNG) suitable for pseudo-3D display in a 2D GIS.
