This FastQ dataset originates from environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling conducted on Réunion and Mayotte Islands. The samples were amplified using MiFish primers, targeting mitochondrial DNA specific to fishes, to investigate ichthyological assemblages in mesophotic habitats of the Western Indian Ocean.
