Number of women in the Icelandic Parliament 1974-2021

After the parliamentary election in Iceland in September 2021, there were 30 women elected to the Icelandic parliament, which has 63 members. In other words, the share of women in the Icelandic parliament was around 47 percent. The number of women in the Icelandic parliament has increased over the last elections.
