Preliminary dataset on confirmed cases of COVID-19, Public Health Agency of Canada [custom extraction]

<p>This dataset provides Canadians and researchers with preliminary data on the confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Canada. Given the rapidly-evolving nature of this situation, these data are considered preliminary.</p>
<p>The dataset was downloaded from <a href="https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/13-26-0003/132600032020001-eng.htm">Statistics Canada</a> as a CSV file. Due to the size of the data file, it was imported into SPSS from which 5 CSV files were exported based on the region variable. The regions are Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario and Nunavut, Prairies and Northwest Territories, and British Columbia and Yukon.</p>
