The overall objective of this research is to gain an in-depth understanding of the potential customers of the Number One condom, particularly among target groups of HIV/AIDS interventions in Vietnam: Female Sex Workers (FSWs) and their clients (Male clients). Specific research objectives are to: Understand the perception, motional feelings of potential customers to the design and packaging of new type of condom (the Number One condom) Test the appropriateness and acceptability of different types of designing and packaging of Number One condom which are available in other countries. Provide recommendations to re-design/package the Number One condom in the most appropriate way for Vietnamese customers. This research used qualitative focus groups discussion and in-depth interview methods for data collection. The fieldwork will be conducted in Hanoi. Focus-group discussions and in-depth interviews were applied with different target groups to gather normative responses and information to objectives being researched. For each FGD included 5-6 persons.
