We provide the relevant data in this study as required, including:  Daily synoptic pattern index during winter from 2014 to 2018  Geopotential height for each synoptic patterns during winter from 2014 to 2018  Daily in-situ PM measurements in the study area (from 15° to 45° N and 95° to 125° E) during winter from 2014 to 2018, containing PM10 and PM2.5  Daily in-situ PM measurements in Wuhan from 2014.1 to 2019.2, containing PM10 and PM2.5  Daily in-situ BC measurements in Wuhan from 2014.1 to 2019.2  2-D daily meteorological reanalysis data obtained from FNL, containing HPBL, T (2m), wind speed (u/v, 10m) and RH (%)  3-D daily meteorological reanalysis profiles from FNL, containing T, wind speed (u/v) and isobaric level  3-D sounding observations in Wuhan during winter from 2014 to 2018  Oxidation rate of sulfur and nitrogen for each synoptic patterns during winter from 2014 to 2018 All these data are processed in MATLAB.
