Three-dimensional engineered skeletal muscle (C2C12) was used to examine transcriptomic changes induced by sustained TNF-a. Constructs received TNF-a (100 ng/mL, 72 h) or vehicle (n = 3/group), during which electrically evoked force declined under TNF-a. RNA-seq libraries were prepared with TruSeq Stranded mRNA and sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 (PE 2Ã151 bp). Processed data include a gene-by-sample raw count matrix (raw_counts.tsv); raw FASTQ files are linked via SRA. Overall design: C2C12-derived three-dimensional engineered muscle constructs were assigned to TNF-a (100 ng/mL, 72 h) or vehicle controls (n = 3/group). Total RNA was prepared with TruSeq Stranded mRNA and sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 (paired-end 2Ã151 bp). Libraries correspond 1:1 to columns in raw_counts.tsv (gene-level integer counts).
